Last-Minute D&D Gifts (2026): Dice Bags and Trays in 1โ3 Days, or Digital Gifts Today
Share
Short answer: if you need a D&D gift in the next few days, you have three options. Pick up dice or a starter set in a store today, order something that ships from a US warehouse in 1 to 3 business days, or send a digital gift that arrives instantly. A dice bag or tray from US stock costs $21.70โ46 and works even if you don't know their character.
By Mariia, maker at GameFancy. Published October 2026. Most of our bags and trays are sewn to order, so I know exactly which gifts can and cannot arrive fast. This guide is honest about both.
Option 1: today, from a store
Big chain stores and bookstores often carry D&D starter sets, rulebooks and plain dice sets, and many let you check stock online and pick up the same day. A local game store is usually the better stop: it stocks more dice and accessories, and the staff can tell you what new players at their tables actually use.
What you will rarely find in a store is anything personal. Store dice bags are mostly plain black drawstring pouches.
Option 2: in 1โ3 business days, from US stock
Ten of our designs are already in Miami and ship by DHL in 1 to 3 business days, with no customs:
| Gift | What it is | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Goblin plush dice bags (three designs) | Soft goblin heads, hold 120+ dice; versions with 6 pockets | $46, $56 with pockets |
| Mothman plush dice bags (four designs, including Gothic Mothman) | Plush cryptid, holds 100+ dice; some with a long strap | $46, $53 with strap |
| Whale plush dice bag | Blue denim whale with a zipper, holds 120+ dice | $42 |
| Mothman dice tray | Folding fabric tray, 5.5 ร 5.5 in, about 90 g | $21.70 |
| Possum dice tray | Same tray, possum print | $21.70 |
All ten are in our Fast Shipping (USA) collection. Orders over $99 ship free, so two plush bags and a tray cross that line.
If your boyfriend, girlfriend or friend likes cryptids, goblins or anything a little weird, this list covers most tastes. If they like dragons, maps or witchy prints, those are made to order and need 9 to 17 business days.
Option 3: instantly, as a digital gift
If the date is tomorrow, a digital gift is the only thing that is guaranteed to arrive:
- Digital books or a subscription on D&D Beyond, the official D&D platform.
- A gift card for a custom miniature of their character from a miniature maker such as Hero Forge.
- A virtual tabletop subscription such as Roll20, if they play online.
- A gift certificate for adventures and supplements on the DMs Guild.
You can also combine the two: send a digital gift on the day and a physical one that arrives a few days later.
What doesn't arrive fast
Be careful with anything made to order or personalized. Our custom printed bags and trays take 13 to 21 business days in total, and velvet bags with an embroidered name take 9 to 17. They are good gifts, but not last-minute ones. The same goes for most handmade shops overseas: check where the item ships from before you order.
Last-minute gift for a boyfriend who plays D&D
Three quick picks:
- He carries dice to games: a goblin plush bag with 6 pockets ($56), from US stock.
- He plays at home or already has a bag: a Mothman or Possum folding tray ($21.70).
- He likes Mothman: a Mothman plush bag ($46) and a Mothman tray together, $67.70.
