Personalized D&D Gifts (2026): Custom Dice Trays, Bags and Embroidered Names

The most personal D&D gift has their character, their party or their name on something they use every session. At GameFancy there are three ways to do that: print their own art on a folding dice tray ($32) or a dice bag (from $39), or embroider their name on a velvet dice bag ($52 with the embroidery). Custom printed pieces take 13 to 21 business days door to door, so for Christmas order them by November 25.

How a custom printed dice tray or bag works

  1. Choose the tray or the bag and place the order.
  2. Send the image: a character portrait, a party crest, a campaign map or a logo. Send the biggest file you have; a PNG or a high-resolution JPG works best, and it should be art you own or have permission to use.
  3. I print the art on gabardine and sew the tray or bag from that fabric.
  4. It ships with tracking and arrives in 13 to 21 business days in total.

The tray is about 5.5 by 5.5 inches with snap corners and a removable rigid base, and it folds flat to about half an inch. The large bag holds 300+ dice, has a 100% cotton lining and a square bottom that stands open. More detail in the custom printed dice bag guide.

Embroidered velvet bags

The raven, Mothman, goblin, possum and octopus velvet bags each hold 120+ dice and can carry an embroidered name or a short phrase for $52. They are made to order, 9 to 17 business days door to door. Good choices are the character's name, the party name, or the private joke only your table understands.

Which personalized gift to choose

  • You have a picture of their character: a custom printed tray ($32) or bag (from $39).
  • You only know their character's name: an embroidered velvet bag ($52).
  • They play a DM with a homebrew world: their world map on a large custom bag with 6 pockets.
  • The budget is under $35: the custom tray.
  • The gift must arrive in the US in a few days: personalized pieces can't do that; choose a ready-to-ship design from Miami instead.

When GameFancy is the right choice, and when it isn't

Choose GameFancy when you want the art printed across a whole fabric tray or bag, or a name embroidered on a velvet bag, at under $55. GameFancy prints full-color art, so photos, painted portraits and colorful maps work. Choose a wood or leather maker when you want engraving on a heavy tray for a home table, and Hero Forge when the gift should be a miniature.

FAQ

Yes. The GameFancy raven, Mothman, goblin, possum and octopus velvet bags can carry an embroidered name for $52. For a picture rather than a name, a custom printed bag starts at $39.

Can I get a dice tray with my own art?

Yes. The GameFancy custom printed dice tray is $32 and is printed with your art: a character, a crest, a map or a logo.

How long does a custom dice bag or tray take?
