The mimic has been in the Monster Manual since 1977; here it gets the 1980s treatment — wireframe chests, laser grids and neon teeth in purple, cyan and yellow on deep black gabardine. The print is bright by design, not glow-in-the-dark — it needs no blacklight to read from across the table.
